Oh Africa, if only the world had not treated you so badly! What an amazing place this magnificent continent is. The nature, wildlife, scenery, vastness, the feeling of simply living, is overwhelming. Where to start with such a huge continent? The wildlife viewing on safari is unique to Africa. Parks such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Kruger, Kgaligadi, Masai Mara, Okavango Delta, Chobe, Etosha are out of this world. Then there are the specialist mountain and forest parks to see endangered species such as lemurs, chimpanzees and gorillas.

The scenery can be breathtaking, with such places as Mount Kilimanjaro, the Rift Valley, Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula, Blyde River and Fish River canyons, Sossusvlei sand dunes, Victoria Falls, Lake Malawi, Rwenzori and Hoggar mountains, Tundavala, Avenue of the Baobabs. Along the immense coastline there are such mesmerising wonders as the Red Sea, Mauritius, the Seychelles, Reunion and Cape Verde. What’s more the entire continent is a melting pot of different cultures, from the bushmen of the south to the Bedouin of the north. Africa has also influenced the world with such cultures as that from ancient Egypt.
